Forgot to mention but.. how would they even be faking their fears..?? Like they had them their entire life right?? There's no way they planned that murder from childhood, and the others would definitely know if they started faking it now

8:56 He is so dramatic 🙄🙄

11:15 But why would they even give her a second story room in the first place? That's just mean

14:52 How'd they even get him to agree to do that??

21:35 How did he know the exact coordinates of where the boat sunk??

Anyways I was not expecting that

Oh, new ending too!! Fun! No silly commentary this time!

ships back then used LORAN just like airplanes did (ships and planes still use LORAN along with GPS today). it works kinda sorta like GPS satellites do. here's a quote from the wiki: "LORAN, short for long range navigation, was a hyperbolic radio navigation system developed in the United States during World War II. It was similar to the UK's Gee system but operated at lower frequencies in order to provide an improved range up to 1,500 miles with an accuracy of tens of miles. It was first used for ship convoys crossing the Atlantic Ocean, and then by long-range patrol aircraft, but found its main use on the ships and aircraft operating in the Pacific theater during World War II."

since WW2 LORAN has caught on around the world. special radio broadcasting antennas broadcast their signals continuously, putting their data out and those antennas are spread nigh on everywhere there's an electrical grid and some form of money to support the antennas. LORAN sites are located especially dense around cities and airports and ship-ports and regular routes for aircraft and trans-oceanic shipping lanes. the more LORAN antennas your computer can find, the more accurate the geolocation becomes. 2+ sites are required for a triangulation. but, if you only catch 1 site the computer can figure out which direction and distance that site is and if you move towards it... perhaps you'll find help! ;) or an automated site with no help at all. ;) LORAN has also added an approximate elevation calculation capability as well. due to signal strength, direction, and elevation data on the specific spots the antennas broadcast from, your airplane's computer can 'somewhat' guess how high up in the air you are. somewhat. ;) altimeters using air pressure sensors are much more accurate than the LORAN calculations.

if the security guy was at the wheel of the ship and saw the LORAN display he could have remembered the coordinates. to never forget them he scratched the face of his wristwatch with an N and E as a reminder. maybe someday the guy planned on going there and permanently removing any evidence that remained on the wreck.

also, GPS satellite location devices don't exactly work perfectly if you are close to the North and South Poles of the Earth. the closer you are to the Arctic and Antarctic Circles the fewer and fewer and fewer numbers of GPS sats orbit the Earth overhead. so ships and planes use LORAN more like a 'backup' geolocation these days. but 13 years previous to when Conan is supposedly set... sometime in the early 2000's ... there weren't many GPS sats up there just yet. the US Europe etc. were still launching the satellites and setting up the technology.

well i was close. i guess those extra ideas i had weren't necessary. :> but i got it more than half right this time! :D

oh, the translators got it wrong! those are panda kigurumi, they're also known as Japanese 'disguise pajamas'. the word ‘kigurumi’ literally translates as ‘costumed animal character’. the US has them too, they've been catching on here for a little less than a decade. it's basically a onsie you put on with a hood and sometimes even a face-mask attached to the hood. pajamas are the most popular version, something snuggly, cute, and fun to wear to bed when you're a lil kid... or a big ol grown up kid. :>

This case was pretty unique, I liked it!

3:14, I bet he writes everything down so that his brother knows what's happening so he doesn't seem suspicous when they swap places. 6:21, it was actually the brother who'd injured his hand isn't it? 6:32, ...it's so obvious, it's gotta be the younger brother, he's somehow gotta be alive. 7:18, then this must be the brother pretending to be him, because she thought that it was originally the brother who saved her from the tree but since he's pretending to be him 'he' has slow reflexes. 14:16, I knew it! I knew they were gonna pull something like this, that's why Conan said it would take 3 hours. 14:20 also him 'yelling when excited', was a lie, like the killers, so that it wouldn't be suspicous when his grumpy brother would begin to yell. 15:40, I was right! It was pretty obvious in this episode though. 23:48, aww, I wanna see him wear the panda onesie. Is the next episode a BO episode!?

Woah we had the motive about twins guessed so many times in this show but it was wrong all the time... but not this time!
